This Privacy Policy explains how Bidwalk (“bidwalk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the bidwalk mobile application and the bidwalk.ai website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
- Account information: your mobile phone number, used to create and secure your account via SMS verification.
- Profile and business details: your name, business name, license number, and location (such as city, state, and ZIP code).
- Content you upload: job-site walkthrough videos, and invoice or estimate files (images, PDFs, or spreadsheets) you provide to build your personal price book.
- Estimates and clients: the estimates you generate and the client records you create in the app.
- Website information: if you join the waitlist, the email address you submit.
- Usage and device data: basic technical and analytics data (such as app or page interactions and device information) used to operate and improve the Service.
How we use your information
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
- Generate cost estimates from your recordings and inputs.
- Build and improve your personal price book from documents you upload.
- Manage your subscription, account, and support requests.
- Understand usage, improve features, and prevent abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers that process it on our behalf to run the Service:
- Google Firebase - authentication, database, and file storage.
- Google (Gemini / Vertex AI) - AI processing of your walkthrough videos and uploaded documents to generate estimates and your price book.
- RevenueCat - subscription management.
- Apple - payment processing for App Store subscriptions.
- PostHog - website analytics.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights and users, or in connection with a business transfer.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, including to delete your account and associated data, contact us at legal@bidwalk.ai. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
